E53 x5 - Solid Bush Front Wishbones

Our E53 X5 solid bushed front wishbones, by nature these SAV's are heavy wearing on the bushes and suspension components, and if you, like us, want to take them further than what BMW envisioned the suspension arms become a consumable item. 

We have removed the factory rubber bushing that takes all of the frontal impacts from terrain and in turn quickly deteriorates and replaced this with a machined 6082 Aluminum bushing with a steel liner to allow articulation and prevent the bolt from binding with the material.

We thoroughly tested this component off road and found that due to the reduction in play it also has increased the longevity of the ball joint this solid arm corresponds too.

While we appreciate there is a large difference in an OEM part compared to this in regards to pricing due to the machining and material costs, this truly is 5x the component and is finally a piece that will not need constant replacement.
